Just a thought.

A few weeks ago, I was driving home with my siblings in the car. My youngest brother started going on about some new technology that was invented (can't remember what it was about). Then, a thought came to me.

Isn't it wonderful, and amazing, what us humans have achieved to get to where we are today. How spectacular it is that people, our brains, curiosity, imagination and abilities have enabled us to create softwares, programs, systems, change the molecular structure of things. Evolution has brought us to amazing places.

Then, another thought came into mind. How sad it is, that because of all our achievements, though, yes, mankind is evolving everyday, I personally feel, that we are the own demons to all that we suffer from today. War, obesity, pollution, suffering. Yes, we can blame so many things, but the one thing, that is the cause of all this, is the human mind. The same mind that amazingly got us to where we are today, is the one thing that is the root of all our problems. Yes, everyday we are still reaching new heights and learning about new things, But I personally believe, that people back then were much more resourceful than we are now.

At the end of the day however, humanity is an amazing thing. That, is undeniable. Who knows what awaits us in the future.
