Halfway there.

So far, college life has been really good, but really tiring, but at the same time, extremely rewarding. I'm currently in the 2nd semester ( I know, time flies so fast T-T) and I'm already feeling the pressure for my upcoming AS level examination in October. Not to mention trials which is coming up in September.

In the 1st semester, you could pretty much say I didn't do so well for my semester exam. I did quite badly and I am to blame for that. sighs. But I've moved on from that and am trying to focus more on my studies now.And I've learned not to put too much on my plate. I recently finished facilitating my college's orientation camp for the new intakes and boy, it was really tiring. But really, really fun and it was an amazing experience.

Being a facilitator
It's been about a week since I've been a facilitator, but technically, my faci job started about 2 months ago. We were and put into 3 groups, for 3 orientation camps. I was put into OC7 with a bunch of amazing people. It's quite amazing how balanced our group was based on our individual personalities. Anyways, our theme for the camp was Electrical Appliances, thanks to a super hyperactive faci mate of mine . (all hail his brain) It was pure genius. Moving on from that, being a facilitator isn't an easy job. It takes a lot of self reflecting and open mindedness to be a facilitator. I definitely learned a lot from being a facilitator, all thanks to my camp director (all this besides making lots of new friends :D). Can't say we did a perfect job, but we did a great job with great effort. Couldn't have asked for a better team than them <3

Coping with studies
Well, one thing is for sure, A levels is definitely not SPM. ( Malaysian students, take note please) In SPM, we could study last minute and still do well, NOT in A levels though. In A levels, leaving things to the last minute, is like writing your own death note. It's basically you digging your own grave. NOT ADVISABLE. Studying early is the best option. No scratch that, studying most of the time is the best option. Case closed, gao tim, close door.

But college has been really fun so far, especially with the many friends I've made. If it weren't for them, I'd probably be having a really miserable college life . *insert sentimental essay about friends*

So guys, take it from me when I say, look forward to your college days. They will be hard, tiring, exhausting, but it will be an amazing experience and one you will never forget.
