AROUND THE CORNER

FINALLY

March has arrived and my semester break is almost ending. I'm kind of in between feeling excited and sad that my not-so-short holiday is almost over. I'm excited about the creative aspect of my 2nd semester in architecture but totally dreading the (definite) fact that I'm about to be a walking archizombie.

just in case you needed further understanding

So some questions you might be curious about ;

DID YOU WORK?
No actually I didn't work. I spent most of my time being in the new place since I just moved houses. It's a slow process at the moment, workers are in and out everyday and I'm still going back to the old place to grab my things. Albeit a really long move, considering it's already the beginning of the 3rd month I've been in the new place but there's no rush at the moment. So I've spent my time slowly decorating my room, arranging things and getting settled in.

WHAT ELSE DID YOU DO?
Well, I'm currently prepping for my 2nd sem. Reading up some arch books and learning computer software's. Which leads me to my next post which should be up not too long after this post. A lot of sleeping and relaxing, and cleaning(the new place). I've also done a lot more exercising. Glad to say I'm slowly getting my full range of motion from my right knee. Strength is slowly coming back and I'm feeling great so far, so that's good.

I've also been reading and exploring different architecture blogs. So, here's my take. (click blog names to go direct to the link)

SLAT HAPPY
If you like just viewing pictures of buildings for inspiration or just viewing pleasure, this is a good one. This tumblr blog generally features modern and contemporary buildings using wood elements heavily in their designs.

A DAILY DOSE OF ARCHITECTURE
This blog features different articles of interesting buildings, book reviews and feature photography of architecturally well-designed buildings in New York City. It also serves as the main branch of three blogs and links to Slat Happy as well as UNPACKING MY LIBRARY which mainly feature reviews and suggestion of good architecture books to read.

ANYWAYS,
Can't wait for my next semester to start, then I'll finally be busy and not dying in nothing-to-do land everyday. TILL THEN.
